I have wanted to try Omaha Steaks since they sent ne an advertisement for a trial sampler box for $50.00. But never did. I do like the Omaha Steaks products. And they are still in the chilled condition when they arrive by UPS. They make a nice treat. Kinda like Gevalia coffees seemed like a sunday treat to me.

These looked interesting to try, though other than the kangaroo it didn't seem too exotic (my folks made venison sausage when I was a kid and I have buffalo from time to time). I bought this as a Christmas present. You can't track the shipping through Amazon because it's sent from somewhere else. Amazon sent me an email address that I could use to contact the company about the shipment. Despite two emails to Alaska Smokehouse (one over a month ago), I still have no idea if my friends received the salmon. (Yes, I could ask my friends, but it seems tacky.) Free shipping is a great offer...but not if you never actually find out if it happened!

I was very disappointed with this purchsae. I feel the photo was misleading. What actually arrived was a box with several tiny sausages and packaged mushy cheese.

Well it tastes pretty good. I agree. But I was disapointed when none of mine hatched. I dumped a clump of them into my 10 gallon tank and waited..And waited. But nothing. Then I figured out teh problem was they weren't fertilized so I fertilized the eggs I had left, put those into the tanks and still no luck. So, 1 star for the taste.

This stuffed antipasto bread was better than expected. The outside is crusty. The inside is filled with creamy cheese and chopped vegetables. A very good side dish for a football game.
